Jalingo Water Tower and Park

The Water Tower is part of the new water supply infrastructure in Jalingo, the capital of Taraba State in north-eastern Nigeria. However, instead of being a utilitarian water tank, the design of the tower has become not only the focal point of the park but contains a café, restaurant, and VIP facilities.

It was not easy to transform the functionalism of a water tank into what has become the new symbol and centrepiece of Jalingo, but this is most apparent when the tower is lit up at night.
