An existing ‘Deco’ classic in Oranjezicht in need of repair, was extensively remodelled to cater to a sophisticated home buyer and investor market in a this prime residential area.

New parking, fully re-worked floor plans to create 2 brand new additional units as well as security features throughout are some of the upgrades that were carried out.

While the original building provided the inspiration, the aesthetic was re-imagined to reflect a fresh, contemporary character. Using references from surrounding buildings, materials such as plaster, face brick, steel and glass were used to create the new facades.

The result is a building that occupies its location modestly while firmly establishing itself as a stylish, contemporary addition to the neighbourhood.
